Visiting Nurse Association is one of the oldest and most trusted hospice care providers. VNA is the only independent, nonprofit hospice in the St. Louis area and is a charter member of United Way of Greater St. Louis. Following its long tradition of bringing new concepts in health care to this region, VNA was on the forefront of the hospice movement, providing hospice care since 1982, soon after the hospice movement was introduced in the United States in the late 1970s.
